Come for the Beer...Stay for the Bull!
Held on the 3rd full weekend of
August, the 17th annual microbrew competition brings together the top
professional microbreweries in Wyoming in search of the coveted Saratoga
Steinley Cup and is Wyoming’s official state microbrewery competition.
This celebrated function is held rain or shine in Saratoga from 1-5
pm. Live music and great eats complete the event held at Kathy Glode Park. The chili cook-off features the
best in area cooks showcasing their chili and salsa specialties.
$20.00 for a 12-ounce mug and ballots to vote
for their favorites in the competition class. Those
over age 21 will have the chance to taste the competition class as well as many other hand-crafted brews.
Admission is free for children
under the age of 12.
Fun playground for the kids, too! All attendees have
a chance to vote for their favorite Root Beer entries and the Chili Cook-Off
entries (red chili, green chili and salsa categories). There are
no dogs allowed at the event, so please make other arrangements for your
pets. Let the "Good Times" roll! For more information, please call
the Chamber of Commerce at 307-326-8855.
Make a weekend of it with the 12th annual Saratoga Bullfest at
nearby Buck Springs Rodeo Arena.
The Bullfest is an exciting bull riders-only
event and will feature the region’s top
cowboys. There will be $6000 added purse!
