Testimonials:
“I
wanted to let you know that the hospitality shown in Saratoga during our
brief stay during the Tour de Wyoming was very much appreciated. All of the
local businesses were very accommodating, and I must give special thanks to
Valley Foods, who generously gave my son the banner welcoming the 2009 Tour
de Wyoming Cyclists to Saratoga. I now have that banner proudly displayed
at home in Wisconsin.”

"Over the past 10 years, my husband and I have
traveled all over this wonderful country...However, there was one thing
different about your town. The residents actually seemed to like it
there...I know it must be a struggle for many of you to make a living here,
but keep in mind how lucky you are. You may never be rich monetarily,
but the lifestyle you are allowed to live is priceless."

"I
want to tell you what a great little town you have. We were on a camping
trip but started having trouble with our trailer and rolled on in to
Saratoga. It was very late, and we had two tired kids. A nice woman at the
gas station told us we should camp out at the lake. The next morning our car
wouldn’t start. A local guy named Andy, who was camped at the lake, heard us
having trouble and came over to help. He actually towed me in to a mechanic.
Joe stopped what he was doing to help us out and eventually diagnosed and
fixed the problem. He actually delivered the car back to us at the lake, was
so nice and charged us very little.
We loved
the little Hobo Pools and had a couple of nice meals. We rented canoes at
Hack’s and my 9 year old son caught the fish of a lifetime for a boy from
Missouri.

We were really struck by how friendly and helpful everyone we met was to us.
What could have been a vacation nightmare turned out to be a delightful
experience. As Andy was towing me in to the mechanic, he said 'well, that’s
just the way we do things here. We all look after each other.' What a nice
piece of American hospitality. We loved your town. Hope to visit again."
