Join the gang together and enter a float in the
old-fashioned parade, complete with patriotic music, candy, floats and lots of
fun! Right before the parade, the Platte Valley Kiwanis Club will offer lots of goodies at
their famous baked goods auction.
Stay for the Wild West Shootout just after the
parade in front of the Hotel Wolf. This short melodrama includes saloon
girls, villains, heroes and even gunshots (blanks)!
The fun continues all afternoon, with great eats, poker
run, car show, fine arts as well as various crafts vendors and booths, and more!
BBQ picnic held at the American Legion, with plenty for the kids to do.
Fireworks will be displayed in Saratoga at the "Old Baldy Club" and in
Encampment at the John McClure Memorial Ball Field. All fireworks will
begin at dusk.
