June 8-10, 2008 5th Annual Platte Valley Festival of Birds-For more information please call the Chamber of Commerce at 307-326-8855. Reception on Friday evening, Birding on Battle Creek Saturday morning, with dinner provided at 5:30 PM. Sunday we'll be walking at the Saratoga Lake/Storer Wetlands or hiking the Cedar Canyon Trail. Registration is $40.

Saratoga Steinley Cup--Wyoming official State Microbrewery Competition and "Taste of the West" at 1 pm Veteran's Island Park.  Live music from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. by the local band, "Jimmie and the Boys". Taste of the West Chili Cookoff will provide excellent eats!

Saratoga Bull Fest sponsored by Saratoga Lion's Club, 7 pm at Buck Springs Arena

8 PM Friday night Calcutta-betting on bulls and riders (sponsored by Soroptimist International of Saratoga)

December 1 Christmas Parade and Winter Wonderland

Floats in the parade are entered by area clubs and businesses. Santa and Mrs. Claus visit the children at Veteran's Island at The Valley Service Organization's "Winter Wonderland".
